How To Use Biometric Verification of Aadhaar Instead of OTP While Registering at MahaDBT ?

• First of all you need to have a fully functional biometric device attached to a PC for scanning your thumb impression.
• Go here to get the registration form where you need to select “Yes” when opted for “Do you have Aadhaar”.
• Next you have to choose “Biometric” as authentication type.
• When you have chosen that option two names like Mantra and Nitgen with their instruction set and url will be displayed. • If you are using 32 bit OS get the Nitgen driver from here and for those 64 bit OS, here it is. Right click and get it downloaded.
• Its a ZIP file, you need to get it extracted in any of the folder to use. You can see a setup icon there to install. It will promoted you to to install .NET framework if it is not available in your PC.
• Be patient for a while to get the things installed.
• Once Nitgen is been installed, go to this URL where you need to enter all the details asked regarding the device and Aadhaar. Put your thumb in the device and click on capture button. That’s all. Make sure, use the same thumb at the time of Aadhaar registration should be put on the device.
